Measured by Google PageSpeed Insights

You can leave out https. A check usually takes up to 55 seconds; you can run up to 5 comparisons in 10 minutes.

What we check

  • Mobile speed score
  • SEO score
  • LCP and FCP
  • HTTPS
  • Page title and meta description

Google's servers do the measuring. We do not store the addresses you enter.

The metrics

How to read the result

Every measurement comes from Google's free PageSpeed Insights tool, in mobile mode. What each row means:

01

Speed score

The overall Lighthouse score. How quickly the page appears, how soon it can be used and whether elements jump around while it loads, rolled into one number. The mobile test simulates a slow network and an average phone, so it comes out lower than desktop.

02

LCP

Largest Contentful Paint: the moment the largest element on screen, usually the main image or headline, appears. This is when a visitor feels the site has opened. Google counts it as one of the Core Web Vitals.

03

FCP

First Contentful Paint: the moment the first text or image shows up. It tells you how long a visitor stares at a blank screen.

04

SEO score

The basic technical checks search engines need to read a page properly: title, meta description, permission to index, links, mobile friendliness. A high score does not guarantee rankings; a low one points to a technical problem.

05

HTTPS

Whether the site opens over a secure connection. Browsers mark sites without HTTPS as not secure, and Google uses HTTPS as a ranking signal.

06

Title and meta description

The headline and the short text under it in Google results. Without them, Google picks something from the page itself, and that often reads badly.

Why compare with a competitor?

  • Google takes page experience, including the Core Web Vitals, into account when ranking. If a competitor is faster on the same query, that gives them an edge, however small.
  • Visitors compare too: going back from a slow page to the next result takes one click.
  • Basics like HTTPS, a title and a meta description look minor, but they decide how your site appears in search, and fixing them is usually little work.

Yes, it is free and needs no sign-up. To prevent abuse, the number of comparisons you can run in a short period is limited.

The score itself is not a ranking factor. Google uses Core Web Vitals collected from real users as a page experience signal, and the PageSpeed score is a lab estimate of them. Content and relevance matter more, but between otherwise equal competitors speed can make the difference.

The test runs fresh each time. Server load at that moment, the network and ad scripts can move the result by a few points. For a fair comparison, run it a few times and look at the average.

Google indexes and evaluates sites primarily by their mobile version. On many sites most visitors come from phones too, so the mobile result gives the more realistic picture.

Either the address is wrong, the site blocks Google's bot, or it did not respond in time. Open the address in your browser and try again a little later. If the Google quota is used up, waiting a few minutes is enough.

No. The addresses are passed to Google PageSpeed Insights only for the measurement and are not kept in our database.

The most common causes are large uncompressed images, unnecessary scripts and plugins, and weak hosting. Send us the result on WhatsApp: we will explain what is slowing it down and what the fix would cost.
